The first issue under our new heading — Dossier of Cyber-Polis — presents new books by one of the most prominent contemporary sociologists, the director of Fernan Braudel Center of the University of Binghamton (USA) Immanuel Wallerstein. You can read here the excerpt from the last work by I. Wallerstein “Decline of American Power” published in the journal “Cosmopolis” (2004, № 1) and the Russian translation of his new article “A Soft Multilateralism”. There is also a set of materials concerning his previous work “The End of the World As We Know It” which was piblished in Russian in 2003.
