On the Relation of Morals and Politics


Having begun by reasoning about the essence of power, the German philosopher then passes over to touching upon one meaningful category of political space after another. Turning to the category of purpose, he makes up to set himself a question: what makes a purpose social and what state means used for its achievement are morally legitimate? Seeking to comprehend the vast theme: “morals and politics”, the author draws elements of different social sciences and has recourse to his own terminological instrumentation.
