Prospects of Realization of Russia’s Geopolitical Interests on the Post-Soviet Space

Characterized in the article are the geopolitical situation on the post- Soviet space in the period that preceded the global crisis, as well as in the years of 2008 to 2010, and Russia’s policy toward the countries of the nearest foreign space. The author has analyzed the influence of the world crisis on the dynamics of the relations between the CIS countries, has considered new possibilities opening before Russia and new prospects of realization of its geopolitical interests.
