Language of Revolution – Language of the Street

The author formulates his own position concerning V.B.Pastukhov’s article entitled “Ukrainian Revolution and Russian Counter-Revolution” (which was published in the past issue of the journal), concentrating his attention on alternative possibilities of analyzing our country’s contemporary policy, on the existence of alternative languages of description of what is going on in politics. To the “language of the revolution”, used by V.B.Pastukhov, he opposes the “language of the construction of states and of the formation of political nations” (expression of S.Roccan and Ch.Tilly), which allows, in his opinion, to describe the processes of our country’s politics in the language of science, intelligible to the modernizing world.
