The Worlds of the Political and of the Supra-Political in the Iranian Leaders’ Views (As Appearing from the Analysis of Texts by Imam Khomeini and by President Katami)

The author tries to look “from inside”, having recourse to the method of hermeneutics, at the contemporary Iranian leders’ politico-philosophical views. Several texts by Imam Khomeini and by President Katami are analyzed, both leaders’ visions of the genesis and legitimation of political institutions elucidated, and their interpretation revealed, of the “Islamic rule” concept, as well as of the correlation between religion, civilization, and the world outlook.
