Modern Russia’s Political Elite as Viewed from the Angle of Social Representation (II)

In this 2nd part of his article (for the 1st part see: Polis, 2001, No.1), the author discusses the specificity of political elite’s formation under modern Russia’s conditions. He demonstrates that the social structure of today’s Russian elite where representatives of bureaucracy, both old and new, predominate, noticeably tells on political processes in the country and in society.
